Earnings calendar

Earnings reports are some of the biggest scheduled market events. The SimpleAlgo Earnings Calendar shows which companies report each day of the week, whether they report before the market opens or after it closes, the quarter being reported and the consensus earnings-per-share estimate.

Move week by week to plan ahead, tap a day to see everyone reporting, and open a company to see its details. Knowing the dates helps you avoid being surprised by a large overnight gap, or plan to trade the move on purpose.

The full calendar is free with a SimpleAlgo account. Visitors without an account see a short sample.

Worked example: Citizens Financial (CFG), October 16, 2026

Citizens Financial Group is scheduled to report third-quarter 2026 results on Friday, October 16, before the market opens, with a consensus estimate of $1.40 earnings per share. Because it reports before the open, the market's reaction will show up in the first minutes of trading that morning.

A trader holding CFG can see this a week ahead, decide whether to keep the position through the report, and check the chart with Chart Analysis the evening before.

How to read the results

Before Market means the company reports before the 9:30 a.m. Eastern open; After Market means after the 4:00 p.m. close. Either way the price reaction usually appears as a gap at the next open.

The EPS estimate is the analyst consensus. The stock's reaction depends on how the actual result, revenue and guidance compare with expectations, not only on whether the number is beaten.

If you hold a position through earnings, plan for a larger-than-usual move in either direction.
